Drawing is the nucleus of my entire practice. It connects the eye to the hand—the closest and most physical translation of continuously learning to see. From the trace of my eye to the extension of my arm across an empty surface, drawing is purely experiential. 

Over the course of a year, I make hundreds of drawings. Some turn into paintings and others, prints. Some stay nascent in their sketched forms, while others are relinquished. The images in these books unfold a cross section of drawings over the last eight years.
